"You are queer, my Queen it’s true. But there is one much queerer than you.”
Just in time for Halloween, American Liberty Ballet presents an evening of devilish dance and debauchery. Jack White & the 7 Sins, an original work by Artistic Director Valerie Mae Browne, is an exciting and twisted take on the classic tale of Snow White as told through a lens of political dissatisfactions and distrust. Set to independent and popular music of the 90's and early 2000's it is a crowd pleaser and a sinful brain teaser.
ALB is also proud to have invited local NYC and NJ artists to open the stage for this fantastic event. The matinee (3pm) will feature the talented dancers of DanceWorks & Company under the Artistic Direction of Kathy Costa McKeown. The 7pm will feature Analia Farfan and Allan McCormick in the Black Swan Pas De Deux; and an invigorating contemporary number by Julie Carter, and LIFELINE by Alison Cook Beatty Dance.
